About Janice Chi (M.S.S.)
Specialising in sake and food pairing, Janice is a certified Master Sake Sommelier (SSA) with a WSET Level 3 Award in Sake and a Sake Scholar qualification (SSC). She has spoken and led pairing masterclasses at Vinexpo Singapore 2023 and Hong Kong 2024, and served as a judge at the Singapore Sake Challenge 2023, Japan’s Women Sake Award 2024 and Tokyo Sake Challenge 2025.
About Kazuhiro Sakurai
After graduating from Waseda University, Sakurai-san worked for a company unrelated to sake. Encountering Dassai on a menu in Tokyo and impressed by its taste, he returned to his family business in 2006, leading Dassai’s global expansion and becoming a key figure in social communications.
About Chi Pin Han
Chi-san is the brain behind all the delectable food offerings on the menu. Having over 40 years of experience honing his culinary skills at several Japanese restaurants including Meguro Gajoen Tokyo, Pan Pacific Singapore’s Keyaki Restaurant and InterContinental Singapore. Chi-san takes pride in providing his customers with the freshest ingredients cooked in the best possible way. The tiniest details are never overlooked, from the dinnerware to the finishing touches of every dish.
