Ippongi Monogatari Junmai Daiginjo (1.8L)
Here’s to a beautiful new chapter... Bringing you the very exclusive and limited Ippongi Monogatari Junmai Daiginjo that focuses on the brewery’s mastery across the pure, elegant and refined style spectrum, using Fukui’s Sakahomare rice. Produced just once a year aged at -4℃, the label aims to leave space for curiosity and reflection and invites conversations as the bare bottle and name “monogatari” (“story”) inspires.
Ippongi, a name signifying ultimate truth, has built a reputation for crafting sakes that are distinctly dry yet remarkably juicy, a result that can only be achieved in Okuechizen, Fukui. This fusion of the local climate, terrain, Fukui-grown rice and the Nambu brewing method has propelled Ippongi beyond the traditional light and clear Nambu profile. The result is a fusion of transparency and softness exclusive to Ippongi.

Sommelier's Notes
Beautiful aroma leads into elegant sweetness and a soft, silky mouthfeel. Finishes off with a gentle taste that melts into the tongue. Best enjoyed chilled with grilled fish, sweet potatoes and sashimi.
