They are known for their diverse and exciting brews, ranging from dry, oak barrel-aged, to sweet and fruity varieties. Their commitment to quality and tradition is evident in their use of locally-grown rice and time-honoured brewing methods.
About Janice Chi (M.S.S.)
Janice is the first female restaurateur in Singapore to receive the prestigious Master Sake Sommelier (Sake Sommelier Academy). She also holds a WSET Level 3 Award in Sake and a Certified Sake Scholar qualification (Sake Scholar Course).
An advocate for craft sake, Janice has been pushing the envelope with sake and food pairing. At the sake-focused table 33, she regularly introduces educational sake programmes such as hot sake menus or sake and cheese pairing sessions. Together with her husband, executive chef Chi Pin Han, she always picks the best sake to match with food flavours.
