Sommelier’s Notes

Subtle and clean aromas of steamed rice and minerality. Prominent umami flavours of miso, kombu and shoyu. A clear representation of Niigata's "Tanrei Karakuchi": clean, crisp and light. Goes well with a variety of seafood dishes from sashimi to sushi and even grilled fishes. Does well at 8-12°C and even warmed up to 40-45°C.
